Minimum of 3 certified timekeepers from each team are required

The Ottawa Sting Minor Hockey Association is hosting a timekeepers clinic on Sunday, September 28th from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Ellwood Hall in the Jim Durrell Recreation Centre. There is a cost of $10/person which will be billed directly to the specific Sting team or to that person if not from the association.

It is mandated by the AA/A league that all time keepers be certified as of the playoffs last season (2008).

We request that each team has a minimum of 3 certified timekeepers. However it is recommended that you have 4 people certified to ensure that you are covered at all your home games. There is no maximum amount of people/team. The course will go over the score sheet covering multiple penalty situations, what happens when a goal is scored etc. It will not actually include clock practice as each rink has a different clock.
