Ottawa Sting Major Peewee "AA" League CHAMPIONS

It is with great pleasure that we announce our victory against the Ottawa Valley Titans, to win our League Championship.

Both teams battled hard for seven playoff games, in which we battled the highly favored opponent. The winning goal occurred in the third overtime period, some 2 hours 20 minutes after the starting, when our Captain scored the winner, after serving a penalty, he received the bomb pass as he left the penalty box, that he picked up as he crossed their blue line.

Our team is now preparing to join the other league winners, in Thunder Bay, for the week long Provincial Championships from March 29 to April 5th.
