On October 9, the Province of Ontario introduced new regulations that apply to Ottawa’s arena ice pads were to be used only for training and drills, with no scrimmages or competitive play permitted.

Further clarification has been provided as follows and will be in effect as of October 15, 2020.

·         A maximum of 10 people are permitted on the ice at the same time for bubble practices.
·         Coaches are included in the 10-person count.
·         Spectators are not permitted.
·         Dressing rooms are closed to storage and first aid use only.
·         Participants must arrive dressed to skate.
·         Fifteen minutes before the start time, groups will be admitted to the skate tying area.

Also, both the provincial government and Public Health authorities are asking all residents to limit travel – especially to localities that are situated outside the Ottawa area. To limit the risk of spreading COVID-19 to areas where case counts are low, people and sporting teams are urged not to travel to other cities or locales for team play or fitness activities.

Your bubble coaches/managers will be in touch to let you know how these new guidelines will affect scheduled activities. We thank you for your patience as team staff reacts as quickly as possible and plans against these new rules.
