Ottawa Sting Major Peewee B - Capital Volunteer Cup Champions

After a slow start to the weekend, the Ottawa Sting Major Peewee B team made it through to the play-offs at the Capital Volunteer Cup Tournament hosted by the Cumberland Jr. Grads with a 1-1-1 record, beating out Kanata on the fourth tie breaker - lowest penalty minutes.

After besting the Cumberland Jr. Grads in a 3 on 3 overtime win in the semi-finals, the Ottawa Sting faced the North York Knights in the finals.  In a tense, nailbiting game, the Ottawa Sting won 3-2 becoming the Major Peewee Champions of the Capital Volunteer Cup Tournament.

Congratulations to both the coaches and the players for what in the end was a very successful weekend.
